The CV preview is the fastest way through a pile of applications. Open it with Ctrl+P from the board, or by clicking preview on a candidate card.
On the board, you open the preview with the eye icon button above the columns, labelled "Ctrl+P". The "CV preview" icon on a card appears when you hover over the card, if the candidate has a CV.
The CV preview: stage candidates, the CV, and the notes panel
Three panels
On the left — candidates from the current stage. Click to move between them without closing the window.
In the middle — the CV. You can zoom, rotate and print it. When a candidate has no CV you get a message rather than a blank page.
On the right — the candidate's notes, actions and projects, switched by tabs.
Above the CV are the candidate's tags — you can add and remove them without leaving the preview.
Keyboard shortcuts
The shortcuts are printed under the toolbar icons, so there is nothing to memorise. The full set:
Ctrl+↑ / Ctrl+↓ — previous and next candidate
Ctrl+← / Ctrl+→ — previous and next stage
Alt+← — reject the candidate
Alt+→ — move to the next stage
Ctrl+E — write a message
Ctrl+G — rate the candidate
Ctrl+O — full screen, Ctrl+P — print
Ctrl+1 / 2 / 3 — switch the right-hand tabs
Esc — close the preview
On a Mac use ⌘ instead of Ctrl, and reject and move are ⌘⇧+← and ⌘⇧+→.
Writing a note
When the Notes tab is active, any letter key jumps the cursor straight into the note field — you can start typing without clicking. Confirm the note with Ctrl+Enter.
