Element can post a message to a Slack channel or privately to selected people when a candidate reaches a stage or is rejected. A hiring manager does not have to open the system to know that someone is waiting for their decision.
Connecting
An administrator opens Settings → Slack integration. The page walks them through it: create a Slack app from the ready-made manifest, install it in the company workspace and paste the bot token (it starts with xoxb) into Element. After saving, the status changes to Connected to Slack.

For the bot to post to a channel, invite it there with /invite @Element. Without that, channel messages will not arrive.
The stage action
In the project settings, on the Recruitment process tab, open a stage and add the action Send Slack message. You set:
the action type: when the candidate's position changes, or after a rejection,
a Slack channel ID or the e-mail addresses of Slack users who should get a direct message. You need a channel or at least one address,
an optional delay, the same as for e-mail.
The Send Slack message action in the stage dialog
You will find the channel ID in Slack in the channel details, at the very bottom. It starts with the letter C.
The message contains the candidate's name with a link to their profile, the stage name with a link to the board, and the reason in the case of a rejection.
What the recruiter sees
When you move a candidate to such a stage, the system shows a confirmation dialog with the list of actions, including the Slack message with its channel or addresses. You can remove it from that one operation, just like an e-mail. More on that in the article on stage actions.

When Slack is not connected
The action can be set up without a connection, but the message will not go out and nobody is told about it. Check the status on the integration page before you build a process on it.
