Application links

Thanks to the Application Links, you can add candidates to the system from any source!

Application links have three functions:

  • allow to provide the candidate with a link through which the candidate will open the application form to submit his / her application to the recruitment project and will appear in the project

  • allow to connect job ads published on the Internet with Element (just copy the link and use it in the job ad)

  • allow you to analyze the effectiveness of various candidates sources

It is best to look at application links as sources of candidates. If you are recruiting candidates from Linkedin, the candidates from this portal should be sent an application link called "Linkedin". If you are recruiting candidates at, for example, job fairs, then the candidates who came to us at job fairs should be provided with an application link called "Job Fairs". Thanks to this strategy, the candidates will go directly to the Element system through the application form and the system will know which candidate is from Linkedin and which is from the job fair.

Tip: when creating an application link, give it the same name as the name of the source for which this link will be intended:

Important - the application link is created only once in the entire system. The application link added in the project X will be immediately visible in all other projects for all other users. There is no need ,and it is not recommended, to create the same named application links several times in the system. Such action will disturb the reporting of the effectiveness of candidate sources. Of course, the application link copied from a specific project leads the candidate to the application form only to that project.

Using application links for publishing ads

When you publish job ad on a job portal that is not integrated with Element, then you should create an application link for that portal. Then copy the link and either send it to the job portal requesting to connect the link to "application" or paste it in the job ad's content.

Application links work as long as they exist in the system, i.e. until they are deleted.

Element always knows which user copied the application link. Thanks to this, the candidate who applied to the application form from this link will receive a "welcome message" (if the automatic welcome message has been enabled), in which the sender of the message will be the person who copied the link 🙂
