A stage template is a ready-made recruitment process you drop into a new project instead of building stages from scratch. You configure them under Settings → Stage templates.
The stage template list
What a template holds
Stages in order, with the actions that send messages attached. A global template offers only the message-sending action — other action types are added in the specific project.
You add an action to a stage in the "Edit template" window with the "Add action" button. The "Action type" list has one item here: "Send message".
Two limitations you need to know
A template is copied once. Applying it creates a copy of the stages in the project. Changing the template later will not change projects that already exist — those have to be edited by hand.
A template can only be applied to an empty process. Once a project has even one candidate on any stage, the template list stops being available.
How to use them
Prepare one template per type of recruitment you run most often — one for technical roles, another for sales. Setting up a project then takes a few clicks, and your processes stay comparable between recruitments.
In a new project you pick a template on the "RECRUITMENT PROCESS" tab, from the "Stage templates" list.
