Your first week: recruiter

From first login to your first candidate moved to the next stage.

Your admin has given you an account. These six steps are enough to start working normally.

1. Connect your mailbox and calendar

Settings → Email synchronization. Messages to candidates go out from your own mailbox, so until you connect it the send button will not do anything. Connect the calendar at the same time — without it you cannot schedule a meeting.

On the "Email synchronization" and "Calendar synchronization" pages click "Synchronize".

2. Find your projects

After logging in you see a dashboard listing your recruitments. You only see the ones an admin has added you to as a participant.

3. Open the board

Click a project and go to its recruitment tab. Columns are stages, cards are candidates.

Hover a card and a bar of actions slides out underneath it: add a note, write a message, view the CV, reject, remove.

4. Look at a candidate

Clicking a card opens a panel with the candidate's details. Faster still: Ctrl+P opens the full CV preview, with the stage's candidates on the left, the CV in the middle, and notes and history on the right.

That preview has a full set of shortcuts — Ctrl+↑ and Ctrl+↓ jump between candidates, Alt+→ moves to the next stage, Alt+← rejects. It lets you work through dozens of applications without leaving the keyboard.

5. Move or reject

You move a candidate by dragging their card to another column. If the target stage has an action configured — a message to the candidate, for instance — you will see a preview of that message before anything is sent. You can edit, delay or delete it there.

Rejecting does not move the card to a separate column: the candidate stays on their stage and is marked as rejected. Above the board there is a switch showing all candidates, only active ones, or only rejected ones.

6. Search the database

The candidate database is shared across the whole company. Before you publish a new job ad, check whether you already have someone suitable.
