A project is visible only to its participants. Adding someone to a recruitment is a separate act — giving them a role in the system is not enough.
The Shared tab in project settings
Access to the whole project
The standard option for recruiters working on the recruitment. A participant sees every stage, every candidate and every project tab.
Access to selected stages
Useful when someone should only see the end of the process — typically a hiring manager who does not need to see every application.
Click "Add participant", choose "Selected stages" and tick the stages this person should see.
That person sees candidates only from the shared stages. Move a candidate to a stage they cannot access and the candidate simply disappears from their view.
Someone with stage-only access also has the other project tabs greyed out — going to them directly by URL will not work either.
Superiors see their subordinates' projects
If a superior structure is configured in user settings, a superior sees their subordinates' recruitments without being added to each one separately.
You set a superior in Settings, on the "Users" page, with the "Set superior" icon next to the person.
Admins see everything
The admin role bypasses this mechanism — an admin has access to every project, including ones they do not participate in.
When someone "cannot see" a candidate
Check in order: are they a project participant, do they have access to that stage, and is an access tag at work. These are three different mechanisms and each narrows visibility independently.
